In Cindy Brooks' centerfold (April 1985) she has joined us in a darkened 
lounge.

Playboy tried experimenting with older women as Playmates with both 
Cindy and Kathy Shower. I don't know why the experiment wasn't repeated. 
A woman of any age can be sexy and stunning, but there is a particular 
style of beauty that's celebrated in a non-fetish pin-up, and Cindy 
proves beyond doubt that style of beauty does not disappear at thirty.

The dark coloring of the centerfold is a good contrast to Cindy's 
somewhat light coloring. It does so very well, although the tone is a 
bit too K-Mart in its luxury. The red cushion across the bottom of the 
frame is an excellent touch.

Cindy's shown off to good advantage, but her pose and expression are 
less than first rate. Her back looks like she just took a line drive to 
the spine, and I remain unconvinced she's in as many throes of passion 
as what her mouth is supposed to indicate.

If you can get past that, her breasts and the rest of her torso are 
fantastic. Very soft, round and begging to be touched. Good things to 
have in a pin-up!
