In Carol Ficatier's centerfold (December 1985) she's stretched out on 
the sofa, limbering up for our next activity.

Unlike some Playboy centerfolds, there's not really much of an implied 
situation here. The good news is that we're free to make up our own 
story for Carol and ourselves. The dangers are losing the class and 
level of quality that Playboy is known for, or moving more toward the 
artistic side rather than the erotic. Neither one turns out to be a 
concern in this case.

I like how Carol is posed and lit. It gives a strong sense of reality to 
her figure and flatters her very much. The look on her face issues a 
challenge, not a threat, and is very inviting.

I'm not sure about the hose and heels in this case. I like traditional 
women's lingerie, not to the exclusion of anything else, but because it 
can be very flattering to the feminine body. In this case I think a 
softer look would have been better, especially given the somewhat severe 
look of Carol's hair.

The lighting is good, especially the highlight on the background that 
lines up with her breasts.
