In Sherry Arnett's centerfold (January 1986) we're being invited to join 
her at the keyboard.

This isn't a bad photo of Sherry, but I like the alternate better. 
Sherry does cute and playful better than she does elegant and reserved. 
Her expression here is playful. In a different setting, a different 
context, the expression would seem much lovelier.

The pose chosen works really well for Sherry's figure. Everything has a 
nice curve. I especially like what the pose does for her breasts, 
highlighting not only their natural shape, but also their softness and 
caressability. This relaxed pose pretty much plays up softness all over. 
Her almost-dress and hose add a contrasting texture, and the contrast is 
small enough to add visual interest without jarring.

The piano and Sherry work together to create an interesting and pleasing 
geometric form. The wood floor at the top of the photo provides a nice 
frame, and the bit of sheet music on the floor balances the composition 
quite well. Particularly outstanding are the way the bright piano hinge 
leads our eyes directly to Sherry's wonderful face, and the way the 
position of her right hand directs our eyes to another area of interest.
