In Rebekka Armstrong's centerfold (September 1986) we see that even an 
attractive woman can be made to look bad. Three things make this 
centerfold a disaster. The first is the costume, the second is the 
hairstyle and the third is the attitude.

The costume is meant, I think, to evoke a bridal fantasy. It never works 
for me. Part of it is the lace, part of it is how it's draped across 
Rebekka and part of it is a lace collar that looks way too tight.

Her hairstyle looks like it was inspired by Zippy. It makes her face 
look forced and severe. Maybe she was going from this shoot to an 
audition as the Wicked Witch of the West.

She's certainly got the attitude down pat. What is there about her 
expression in this shot that indicates she wants anything to do with me?

The sole erotic appeal here is in Rebekka's body. It's actually not that 
bad of a pose for showing off her figure.

When you remember Rebekka (and I know you will) remember her for her 
work as an AIDS educator and the sensual creature in her Playmate video 
- not this train wreck.
