This is one of those rare photographs that strikes me as worse than it actually is. I think the reason is the tremendous build up we got in Sharry's PMOM feature. Those photographs all rate a 4.0 in my book, so a 3.0 centerfold seems a little bit like a disappointment. That's an unfair slight against this photograph, which has a good deal going for it. The colors are probably the most notable aspect. The combination of salmon and grey runs rampant all over the frame. Sharry herself is all about verticals in direct contrast to the lunch counter which, for all we see in the photo, is all about horizontals. Sharry's lipstick has been selected to match the trim in the lunch counter, tying the two diverse elements together. Sharry looks very, very good, but not great. I think the problem is the static nature of her pose. She looks like she could be there all day. I'd rather she looked like I could be there all day with her. Fortunately, there's nothing in her expression to rule that out.
