To: pml1@yahoogroups.com Subject: [PML1] CC: Pia Reyes From: Mark Tomlonson Date: Thu, 03 Jul 2003 13:35:50 -0400 In Pia Reyes' centerfold (November 1988) she's accepted our gift of flowers, and has decided to reverse course in her preparations to go out. Pin-ups have varying degrees of reality. Some of the best ones have none at all; some of the best ones are steeped in it. The good ones that have little reality have a high degree of fantasy. This doesn't work well as either. The thing I have the most trouble with is Pia's dress. The large black and white polka dots were an excellent choice in color and pattern, but the thing looks so starched she could never get it closed even if she wanted to. (Maybe that's not so bad. . .) If there's a wind blowing hard enough to blow open her dress, shouldn't her hair be moving too? I'm not buying it. From the look on Pia's face, she's not buying it, either. That's another thing that troubles me: Pia's lack of involvement with the situation. Some things that don't bother me are Pia's pose, the colors chosen (very elegant black, white and silver) and the way the clothing other than dress all add to and flatter the lines of Pia's figure.
