In Pamela Anderson's centerfold (February 1990) she's standing in her 
bedroom door, inviting us in, and not for tea. Pamela is probably one of 
the most photographed women of the late twentieth century, and her 
Playmate appearance was just the start.

We see the blend of innocence and sexiness that got her started and 
continues to add sweetness to her current persona. The white bustier is 
a perfect fit and the main color focus. The major lines are the vertical 
door frame and a sweeping diagonal from upper left to lower right. This 
diagonal puts our eye on Pamela, where it belongs. The gold braid we 
almost see in the upper right adds balance. It's tricky to make a 
neckline like this flatter as well as it does, but it still adds a bit 
of awkwardness to the line of her breasts.

Pamela's hair looks tousled instead of unkempt, as if she's asking for a 
repeat performance, but the bedroom invitation still has Playboy's 
characteristic subtlety.

This is a side of Pamela she doesn't show very often today. It's much 
closer to Tim Allen's "Tool Time Girl" than to the cartoonish Vallery 
Irons of "V.I.P." shown in her latest Playboy appearances.
