In Tina Bockrath's centerfold (May 1990) she's laying down somewhere 
dark on a beaded cloth.

This is one of a group of centerfolds where it looks like our Playmate 
has just fallen from the skylight. I think what the photographers were 
going after was the look of a woman in the throes of passion. It's 
rarely successful. What I generally get from these is the look of a 
woman who's been talked into some silly pose by the photographer, or a 
woman with severe muscle problems. Neither feeling is particularly 
erotic. I'm surprised Playboy has run a centerfold like this so often..

Tina's a very good-looking Playmate, and she's trying hard to make this 
pose work. Her face is communicating a strong sense of sensuality and 
desire, the images you want in a pin up. The arch of her back highlights 
her breasts and gives them a very flattering line.

The lighting is worth mentioning here. It adds a very pleasant tone to 
Tina's skin, and is arranged to make her stand out from the background. 
Even though it's not clear exactly what the background is, it avoids the 
feeling of a bottomless pit.
