It's hard to say if we've won or lost. Playboy has featured some extremely intelligent women in its gatefold, and Victoria is one of them. Given that, the aftermath of a chess game in a library is an excellent take-off on the model. If only the pose and costume did so well. The pose would work better without the black corset. To my eye all the lines are in the wrong places. They cut Victoria into odd segments, and we never see the full flowing curves of her body that we find in the other pictures of her. Even without the corset, leaning back with her shoulders back is not the best pose for Victoria, although it's not the problem the corset is. Rising above all that is Victoria's smile. It shines out like an erotic beacon. Every time I look at it I want to find out more about what seems to be a remarkable woman. Placing this radiant smile and bright blonde hair against the dark background is perhaps the best aspect of the picture, and draws our attention even more to her lovely face.
