It's a noir world, and the luscious blonde dish has joined us in the No-Tel Hotel. We've slipped the house dick a fiver to keep him off our backs. Now it's just Rhonda and us. She's already gotten started. As you might have surmised, the setting of this centerfold is what I noticed first. The shoes, the wall sconce, the door hardware, the radiator, the telephone and the color scheme all point to the world of Dashnell Hammett. It does so in just a few strokes, and is one of Playboy's better efforts at set decoration. Rhonda's doing a more than fair job at set decoration herself. In the noir fantasy, she's the Midwest Girl who came to the big city looking for fame and married a geezer for his money. Now she's come to us . . . well, I'll let you finish on your own. I'd have done the shot without the garter. It comes at an awkward point, and I think just a bit more nude would have been a lot sexier.
