This is a centerfold where the whole is less than the sum of the parts. Some examples: If you look just at Kona's face and the way it peeks out from behind the awning, it's a lovely shot of a beautiful young woman. In the context of the whole centerfold the awning chops off the top, and intrudes where it should support. The bright colors and rain-slicked textures are a change from the usual centerfold fare, but they never quite click together. Our eyes are drawn to this spot and then this one in a random fashion. The tilt of Kona's left leg shows why women's legs are worth the time to consider carefully, but the pose looks like she has been twisted by first one person and then another with no clear vision tying it all together. Or maybe she has to go to the potty. It's not all bad. After all, Kona is the model. There's a nice use of a kicker light beside her head and those bright colors add a light and festive mood to the picture.
