In Shauna Sand's centerfold (May 1996) she's at the edge of the bed, in 
what may or may not be the Honeymoon Suite.

Many elements of this centerfold are good, but not great: Shauna's pose, 
the setting, the mood, the implied situation. Where this centerfold 
really shines is in Shauna's expression. You almost need to view this 
centerfold while wearing nuclear plant coveralls to protect yourself 
from the intense sexual radiation leaking out of Shauna's eyes.

Her body looks great, but it pales in comparison to her well-sculptured 
face. It's a sophisticated, patrician look. Unlike some other Playmates, 
Shauna never takes on that next-door accessibility, but yet she manages 
to avoid any sense of intimidation or challenge. The look in her eyes 
says that she thinks you look as good as she does, not an easy subtlety 
to catch on film.

Placing her eyes in a line with the lights in the background was a 
masterstroke, pulling our gaze to her best feature. The lights by her 
eyes are balanced by the roses on the bed. The color choices were also 
good, using white to highlight Shauna, and the darker cool blues to 
contrast with her blonde and tan coloring.
