In Natalia Sokolova's centerfold (April 1999) she's on the deck of our 
boat, showing why we brought her along.

There are a lot of things to like here. In particular I like the how the 
nautical theme lends itself to the use of bright, full-value colors, 
especially in the signal flags, sail and decking. The brightness of 
colors is no guarantee of success, but here it works very well.

I also like how Natalia is posed. For her, this may be as fake as it 
gets, but I like how she looks to be removing her shirt while at the 
same time she's cradling and accenting her breasts.

I wish that we could see a different expression on Natalia's face. It's 
actually a relatively pleasant one. There seems to be an intelligent 
woman behind it and a hint of pleasures to come, but still . . . she 
looks like she might not want to be here. Insecure as I am, I wonder if 
she'd rather be with Johnny Lightningstud: Lifeguard, Porsche-driver and 
ace CPA. Or maybe she's just got a bit of mal-de-mer. Either way; my 
prospects may not be all that good.
