Amidst all the carping about the cookie cutter blondes and Hef-squeezes that seem to dominate recent Playmatedom, we find this centerfold. It is so retro it hurts. O.K., we are listening to CD's over wireless headphones, but it's still the fifties fantasy about what makes the high life. You only have to change the CD's to Sinatra Albums or those "Music to be Romantic By" compilations and this centerfold would fit right in to 1958. Kim's doing a fine job under the circumstances, and I would love to see that smile reflected in my own eyes. Still, it looks like it's been a long shoot. We usually mean something else around here by "matching carpet and drapes", so maybe it's a bit of a pun that Kimberly's hair does match the carpet and drapes. The style looks very good, and Kim should be proud of how she looks here in every respect. Retro's not a bad thing when it's part of a creative vision, but this time it has the odor of senility.
