In Katie Lohmann's centerfold (April 2001) we meet her in the barn. I 
think I'm beginning to understand the phrase "Rode hard and put up wet."

As a pin-up this centerfold is about average. There's enough life in 
Katie's expression to make a return visit worth while. There might be 
something you missed on your first visit. Katie's body seems worth a 
return visit or two as well. She's either natural or paid for the deluxe 
surgery.

But there's something amiss here. Katie seems like she's been squeezed 
into the cookie cutter blonde mold somewhat against her will. There's 
gold here that never gets mined. Consider the alternate photo. None of 
the nude shots seem to be able to capture this sense of joy and 
spontaneity, including the centerfold. Was she uncomfortable with the 
photographer? Was she uncomfortable with the idea of posing nude? Is 
there a brunette in there fighting to get out? As strong as the erotic 
feeling is for Katie, the sympathetic feelings are in danger of 
overwhelming them.

This is also another one of the centerfolds where the post-production 
team got too active with the smoothing tool in PhotoShop. Cut it out 
Playboy. It sucks.
