In Crista Nicole's centerfold (May 2001) she's standing along a wall of 
stained glass windows set into a wall of rough-hewn stone. The period 
dress she's almost wearing and her jeweled sandals fit directly into a 
medieval fantasy.

Crista is a cookie-cutter blonde Playmate. From the neck down, her 
plastic-augmented shape is little different from several other Playmates 
of the last several years. Her face, however, has a unique and very 
pleasing look. Not glamourous, not cute, but very real and very 
attractive, perhaps because she reminds me of a cousin.

This too is one of the more attractive centerfolds. The dress's lace 
bodice lends itself well to revealing Crista in the most attractive way 
as well as inviting us to continue to remove the laces. I'm not so sure 
about the way the laces are placed on her legs, however. It looks like 
something may be dribbling. Putting a light behind the dress and to one 
side adds warmth to the photo.

I'm not sure about the expression on her face, though. It looks much too 
weary for a woman this young, or too pissed off for someone I could 
spend much time fantasizing about.

Update:

My comments about Crista being a "cookie-cutter" or "factory" Playmate 
applies in the centerfold only from the neck down. Her face is very 
distinctive and a delight. I think it's quite telling that the picture I 
think is most attractive was taken when, to some extent, she was off the 
factory floor and allowed to be herself. I haven't met Crista, but from 
the alternate photo I would expect to meet a woman I'd like to get to 
know. I don't get that same desire from just the centerfold.
