In Amanda Paige's centerfold (October 2005) we're meeting her in dusty
University Library stacks for what may be the best study break
ever. Hiding from humanity has its up side.

Meeting in the library is a college tradition that goes way back. It
was even a plotline on an episode of "Friends". Add in Amanda's tweed
coat and you have the latest iteration of Playboy's traditional
tribute to College life, even though I haven't seen tweed on campus
since "Preppies" roamed the Quad. The fraying shows this coat may be
older than Amanda.

But who cares? This is a well-done centerfold that shows Playboy's Art
Staff still has it. The slightly darker book stacks set against the
light Amanda give a "jewel in the box" effect that suits Amanda very
well. She is posed to show her figure to great advantage, with her
legs and arms placed in very flattering positions. The look on her
face speaks volumes about how glad she is to meet us here and how much
fun we're both going to have.

With this centerfold the digital medium is at its highest level so
far. That still is a long way from the quality of film.

Cyber Club Portfolio Photo I like better than the Centerfold: I can't
remember another Portfolio (pictorial) as good as this one. I think
were I the editor I would have picked #5 over the centerfold. It's the
same basic pose, but not quite as cutesy with a drop-dead look that is
killer. With a slightly different smile, #26 could blow all of them
away.
